Cloud Sync

Use MoryFlow built-in cloud sync for the current vault and understand its current states.

Cloud Sync

The Cloud Sync section is for MoryFlow's built-in sync for your current vault.

This is different from using a separate external sync client for your local folder.

Before You Can Use It

Cloud Sync currently depends on two things:

  1. You are signed in
  2. You already have a vault open

If either one is missing, the settings page will stop at that state first.

Current Page States

Cloud Sync currently has four main states:

  1. auth-loading
  2. unauthenticated
  3. missing-vault
  4. ready

That means the page does not always show the same controls. It first decides whether sync is even available for the current app state.

What You Can Do in the Ready State

Once the page is ready, you can:

  • Bind the current vault
  • Turn sync on or off
  • View current sync state
  • Check the latest sync time
  • Trigger sync again
  • Open advanced usage details

Conflict Copies and Recovery

Cloud Sync may surface extra status when something needs attention, including:

  • Recovery required
  • Offline retry
  • Setup incomplete
  • Conflict copy available

If a conflict copy is generated, the app can guide you to the first conflict file directly.

Built-in Cloud Sync vs External Folder Sync

Use built-in Cloud Sync when you want MoryFlow to manage sync state for the current vault inside the app.

Use external folder sync when you only want a generic file-sync layer outside MoryFlow.

Those are related, but they are not the same feature.
